It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Pino Bisazza, founder of TREND Group, on January 15th, 2025, at the age of 88.
Pino Bisazza was an iconic figure in Venetian and Italian entrepreneurship. Born in October 1936, he devoted much of his life to the family business, Bisazza, a leader in mosaic production based in Montecchio Maggiore (Vicenza). In 2000, he embarked on a new journey by founding Trend Group, passionately continuing the art of mosaics.
In 2003, under Pino Bisazza’s leadership, TREND Group acquired the historic Orsoni furnace, established in 1888 and renowned for its production of glass enamels and gold-leaf mosaics. This acquisition symbolized a union of tradition and innovation, enabling Orsoni to continue shining on the international artistic stage.
Pino Bisazza also held prominent roles in industry associations, including serving as President of Confindustria Vicenza from 1995 to 1999. His entrepreneurial vision and commitment to promoting the excellence of “Made in Italy” will remain an inspiration for future generations.
His passing leaves a profound void in the world of mosaic art and Italian entrepreneurship.
