Maison Schiaparelli’s presence in the United Kingdom is strengthened in 2025 with the expansion of its boutique on the first floor of Harrods, one of the most prestigious areas of the London department store. The Maison had opened its first British shop‑in‑shop in 2023 and, driven by growing international interest, chose to extend the project, transforming it into an immersive environment that conveys the brand’s identity through materials, forms, and references to its history.

The new space is the result of a collaboration between Creative Director Daniel Roseberry and the architecture studio Halleroed. The entire project draws inspiration from the most representative elements of the Schiaparelli universe: the dialogue with Surrealism, theatrical influences, references to the historic collaborations with Salvador Dalí and Jean‑Michel Frank, and the sophisticated aesthetic that has defined the Maison since its origins. Each room is conceived as part of an imaginary apartment, guiding visitors through the Maison’s various categories in an atmosphere that is both intimate and scenographic.

Among the most distinctive environments is the jewelry room, designed as a surrealist bathroom with Art Deco references. To clad the walls of this space, Schiaparelli selected gold‑leaf mosaic tiles produced by the historic Orsoni furnace. Each mosaic tile is handcrafted, hand‑cut, and meticulously laid by Orsoni’s skilled artisans, following traditional Venetian techniques. The golden surfaces give the room a unique luminosity and a material quality perfectly aligned with the Maison’s identity. Gold, a central element in Schiaparelli’s aesthetic language, thus finds an architectural expression that blends craftsmanship, tradition, and contemporary design.

The jewelry room houses a selection of Schiaparelli’s most iconic jewelry pieces, displayed inside a marble bathtub that recalls the founder’s Surrealist imagination. The overall effect is that of an immersive environment where material and visual narrative come together to enhance the Maison’s creations.
The entire boutique unfolds as a sequence of rooms dedicated to the Maison’s different lines, from prêt‑à‑porter to accessories, culminating in a VIP room conceived as a bedroom. Each space is characterized by materials and details that echo the brand’s aesthetic codes, creating a coherent and refined whole.
