With great honor, Orsoni Venezia 1888 attended the first edition of TEDx San Marco at Palazzo Michiel in Venice, on March 7, 2019.

The event was promoted and hosted by the European Cultural Academy which – as an educational institution that advocates for honesty and insights in the cultural industries – shares the goal to provide insights from different points of view in the cultural, historical and artistic world. A stimulating occasion that give us the opportunity to tell the timeless story of a treasure hidden in Venice; that of the last historical furnace in the city on the water.

From the stage of TEDx San Marco, Riccardo Bisazza, President of Orsoni Venezia 1888, presents a unique heritage made of tradition, art and passion through creativity.

The narration starts from the origin: the famous historical panel born from the “Color Library”, the magical place were over 3,500 different shades of Venetian Smalti are preserved. It then continues towards the future, up to the ambitious project “Arte del Fare” (Art of Doing), whose aim is preserving and spreading this unique story, networking with other ancient companies part of the history and culture of Venice.
