After the success in Brussels in 2019, the exhibition Red in Italy arrives in Rome at Palazzo Piacentini the headquarters of the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy.

“Red in Italy – Colors of Red in Italian Design” is the exhibition conceived by Campari Group with the patronage of Fondazione Altagamma. The project aims to explore everything revolving around the color red through the exhibition of a series of iconic objects representing Made in Italy design. It provides an opportunity for aesthetic and cultural dialogue. The inauguration ceremony took place in the presence of Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, to whom Campari presented the number 1 bottle of the limited edition created specifically for the exhibition. Minister Urso emphasized the importance of the initiative in supporting the uniqueness of the product, the business, culture, and Italian heritage worldwide.

Representing the color and excellence of Made in Italy in the exhibition is the artwork ‘Rosso’ by Giulio Candussio, created using the traditional technique of hand-cut artistic mosaic, employing the enamels of Orsoni Venezia 1888. It is a celebration of color and mosaic decoration in its purest form.

Curated by FG Confalonieri, with scientific supervision by Francesca Valan and coordination by Galleria Campari, the project is an exploration of everything related to the color red through the display of iconic objects of Italian design. These objects serve as a stimulus for aesthetic and cultural dialogue.

The exhibition will be open to the public on Saturdays, June 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th, 2023 (by prior reservation via email polo.culturale@mise.gov.it)
