The Sky Over Nine Columns is composed by nine over seven meter high steles with a light reflecting golden surface made up of 850,000 mosaic tiles with 24 karat gold leaf.

The precious columns took a journey through spectacular places: as first location the artwork was exhibited on the occasion of the Biennale in Venice 2014.

Between 2015 and 2016, the columns were exhibited in the sculpture park of the Sakip Sabanci Museum in Istanbul.

In 2016, the golden columns were exhibited in the Ciutat de les Arts i Ciències in Valencia, designed by the Architect Santiago Calatrava.

The installation was realised by Beck & Eggeling International Fine Art (Düsseldorf ) and Sigifredo di Canossa, in cooperation with the Giorgio Cini Foundation. Supported by Premier Composite Technologies (Dubai).

Orsoni Mosaic Masterclass

The mosaic school is currently undergoing restoration. We anticipate the reopening in 2025. Once the program for the International Mosaic Masterclasses is available, it will be published on the website.
